Become a KEN member and, you will:

The membership fees are used to offset the costs of running our events which include rental fees for halls, audio-visual equipment, speaker honoraria, website expenses, and various office supplies.

Individual annual membership is $10.

NEW! Family memberships are now available for $15. You will receive two cards with individual names for each spouse living in the same household.

You can become a KEN member:

In person at any KEN event or by sending an email to info@kanataenvironmentalnetwork.com. You will receive a membership card.

Membership Discounts

A number of local and/or green businesses are supporting KEN by offering discounts to KEN members. We are very grateful for their support. We encourage you to shop at these small locally-owned businesses and green businesses.

To receive the discount, present your valid KEN membership card before you make the purchase. Also, if you have forgotten your card, unfortunately you pay the regular price, because the businesses do not have access to the KEN membership list and cannot confirm your membership. In other words, no card = no discount

Arbour Environmental Shoppe at 800 Bank Street. This store specializes in planet-friendly products for the home, body, and spirit. A 10% discount is available on rain barrels, Nature Clean products, Natural Body Care products, beeswax candles, and organic cotton sheet sets (flat sheet, fitted sheet and pillow cases). Boomerang Kids at 700 Eagleson south of Michael Cowpland Drive. This stores resells gently-used clothing, toys, and equipment on consignment. It also carries some brand new items. Shopping here is good for your pocketbook and the environment. Boomerang Kids is offering a 10% discount on all NEW items to KEN members.
